Counting my blessings this Thanksgiving weekend! I have two healthy, vibrant kids, a husband who puts up with my crazies (!) and wonderful family and friends who support me from near and far.
What more could a girl ask for?
Enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend, play safe and wear your “stuffed to capacity” yoga pants with pride! We’re lucky to be able to stuff ourselves π

This is just too cool not to share…
I’d LOVE to do that…minus the back flips (I’ve always been better at forward) and switch up the girls near the end for a couple of cute boys ;P
Happy Monday!

How did my babies grow to be so big? This was a surreal day for me. My oldest started Grade 3…I used to teach Grade 3. I thought back to all those little eager faces that I used to cherish and it’s impossible to think that that is my peanut in there!
And my son…oh my son. He is a head strong little guy, but is a sensitive Mama’s Boy underneath it all. He’s in full day Senior Kindergarten and I’m shaking my head wondering how that happened. Wasn’t he just in diapers yesterday?? I will miss our lunches together, but know that he is so ready for the challenge of school…
So to all those Mama’s (and Dad’s!) sniffing into their coffee and tea today…I get it. Boy do I get it!

Well, after 2 weeks away, I’m slowly getting into the swing of things! And, as my family knows, personal pictures tend to get left on the computer for far too long so that I can take care of my photography business’ needs. Ah, such is life! So, here are a few iphone snaps from our trip to Cape Cod, Boston and surrounding NH areas π Beautiful part of the world indeed!

We had a fabulous Canada Day out at the cottage! Β I have been super lazy about taking my ‘big girl’ camera out there, so decided I better start documenting more of my kids’ lives and not just other peoples. Β Here’s a few of my not so little bugs:
And what’s Canada Day without a little fireworks? And by little, I mean little π And marshmallows…those weren’t so little!!
And finally, I wanted to play with my off camera flash with the sunset…but I forgot the sunset was waaay more west in the summer and not where I wanted it to be. Sheesh…Mother Nature. Oh well, this was the best I could do with a speedlight and what little sunset I could capture π
I hope you had a great day too!

The Polar Express! Jack decided that on his last day in our home, he’d wrangle some of his friends into a train ride…with all the marshmallows he’s used up over the past 4 weeks, I’m sure he must of had some hot chocolate along the way!! You’re singing the song from the movie now right, aren’t you?! π
We will miss our wee Jack, but look forward to his return next December 1st!
Merry Christmas friends and may your day be filled with peace, love and joy!

Yup, after shoving poor Barbie back into her sleeping bag:
Jack decided it was time for a little day at the spa…I guess he’s a little worn out from 22 trips back and forth to the North Pole!!
Hard to believe tomorrow will be our last morning with the little guy! A job well done π

…was stirring, not even and ELF! He kicked Barbie out of her sleeping bag, grabbed a stuffy and hunkered down under the tree…awwww π

Well, Jack’s hiding abilities fooled me this morning! Much better than a clear glass! He went deep undercover as the Big Guy himself on a covert mission to fool us all. Well done young grasshopper, well done!

ps These crafts are so cute! The kids’ uncle made them with them when we went to the Canuck’s, err, Senators game (*ducks from pucks flying at my head!*). Oh and did I mention the Canuck’s won 4-1 π
Well, Jack…interesting choice of spot today.Β Nice that you wanted to cuddle Baby Jesus, but aren’t you a little bit big for his manger?
