I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of cuties over the weekend and man, their Mom’s got style. I mean serious style! I knew she was on the ball, but she had the kids dressed like something straight out of a Gap ad! Luckily the weather held, although it was pretty chilly for the little tykes (and their photographer!!). They were super troopers though and lasted way longer than I thought they would!
I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!! I sure enjoyed learning some hockey moves, Beaver songs, about Fancy Nancy and all the other cool stuff that’s out there!
I wonder if they make these boots in adult size? Seriously. Cute.
And this hat! Oh this hat! We had literally packed the kids up into the car when Mom realized she forgot it…so we dragged the poor girl back out for a rapid fire succession of shots!
I’m so glad we did!

While the leaves were still on the trees we beetled over to beautiful Gatineau Park to enjoy the trees, views, and well, crowds. Boy there’s a lot of people out and about at this time of year! Ah well, it was beautiful none-the-less. Here’s a few storyboards that I’ve created of the kiddies.
Enjoy!
Remember that orders for Christmas must be placed by the 14th of November and all payments must be received prior to placing orders. Thank you!
Well, all of my images from PEI are all over the place and long overdue to be blogged…My goal is to get them done sooner than later (I think I may need to be more specific on that!!). It was a fantastic vacation with mostly incredible weather (except for that one storm where I honestly thought the trailer was going to flip over!!!) and with loads of beach time. Unfortunately my “models” weren’t too cooperative in the image making department, but what can you do?
So here are few and I mean a few of the images that were captured…I’ll post more as I finish them.
These few sets were taken at Basin Head…It’s a BEAUTIFUL stretch of beach that, well, squeaks! It’s because of the high silica content and we had a ball just squishing it in our hands and toes and trying to see who could make it “sing” the loudest 🙂
The beach really is this beautiful…you can walk for miles and miles and miles. I was trying so hard to get a bunch of pictures involving the grass, but I had to cut it short. The ONLY drawback to this beach were the horse flies! Oh man, did they ever take large chunks out of my behind!!
More images to follow, but until then, enjoy 😉
My son is allll boy. Rough and tumble. Into e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.! AND, he’ll be 2.5yrs old in two days. Where did the time go? He torments his big sister, yet is the first to give her a big hug in the morning and misses her dearly when she’s at school. He’s also quite petrified of the barber…so he’s sporting quite the “hockey hair” at the moment. I think it looks adorable, but I guess it is getting a little long as I’m oh so tempted to stick a barrette in the front!! Oh well, we’ll figure out something, but for now, enjoy my shaggy little cheesy eating munchkin! I could just gobble up those little freckles across his nose…sigh…
A few more from Saturday’s session 🙂 Couldn’t you just gobble them up?!
Little miss photogenic here was quite the poser! It was awesome!!
I love the look of sheer joy on their faces!! Warms my “mama soul”!
tooldles,

I had the pleasure, honour, of having a session with this adorable family on Saturday. Our daughters go to school together (you may recognize the kiddies from this post) and both of our kids love to hang out together…so much so that “A” made a picture for the kids for me to bring home and I got in trouble from my kiddies for not bringing them!!
Anyways, I digress…this family is so loving and devoted to each other it’s remarkable and a quality I admire very much. Their worlds revolve around these incredible kids and it shows!! I could go on and on, but instead, I’ll just show you!!
Dad’s going to love me for this one…We were having fun making faces…He wins!!
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Apple! Last Saturday we went apple picking for the first time and the kids had a ball! It was a gorgeous morning and we managed to get there before it got too busy. Here’s a few of the images from the fruits of our labour (I crack myself up…no really!).
The light was pretty splotchy, but my “Mommy goggles” still liked these…
Auntie treated the kids to some apple cider in these cute little apple-shaped juice cups…Campbell kept saying, “This red pepper apple juice is goooood!”
And a picture of the two of them, happy, for once!!
Fall is here people…fall is here…

Just a few images of my girl squeezing the last bit of summer out…she’s a barefoot dress wearin’ fool, so I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to have to go back to bundling up like the kid on “A Christmas Story”!!
Enjoy what’s left of the nice weather! xox
Isla has been dying to get to school since JK (junior kindergarten) ended last June. Sometime over the summer, she shot up like a weed, sprouted a little ‘tude and started to read…a lot… All the girls were very excited to see each other again after their summer break and Campbell benefited by getting hugs from all of them too. Man, he’s going to love having an older sister in a few years 😉
Here’s a few images from Monday…sigh…
Isla’s best bud was equally happy to get back at it and see all of her friends…
However, the little brothers were less than happy to watch the girls head off to class without them…
We dropped Isla off for her first day and went to pick her up, but she decided (after a quick hug for her brother…not even me!) that she wanted to take the bus home. Sheesh…fine. We’ll see how much you like the bus at -25C little girl! LOL!!
We raced home to meet the bus and Campbell was a little disturbed as to why she wasn’t with us. However, he agreed to wait for the bus with one of his favourite toys from last Christmas:
She finally arrived with a very happy glow and the two of them were thrilled to see each other…at least for the first half an hour of the reunion!
Happy Skool School Days…And to all of you teachers out there…May the force be with you! 🙂

Awww, sweet baby A. I’d like to say he made my job easy, but, well, it was one of those days for the ‘lil gaffer. It DID NOT, however, take away from his adorable baby smell, sweet little features and love that his parents both obviously have for him. He is a gem, indeed!! The best part about him being a little out of sorts was that I got to have oodles of cuddle time…why does the newborn phase have to go so fast when you’re just so darn sleep deprived and out of sorts yourself?!
Enjoy your sneak peak you two! Things will get easier and you’ll get the hang of it! You’re a great team and it was a pleasure to see you work together!!!
And this would be the lovin’ I’m talking about!!
Shona xoxo
