This week has been heart wrenching to witness. Here are a few images that I captured around town and during the procession for Cst. David Wynn. Thousands of police, emergency personnel and military marched in his honour and participated in his full regimental funeral. It was incredible to see and I know this post doesn’t do the magnitude of the event justice, so I’ve included a link to CTV Edmonton’s coverage HERE.
I am so proud to be a citizen of such a caring community that is truly “united in light”. May your family, friends, Aux Cst. Bond, the rest of your watch and the detachment find comfort in each other and be able to heal in time. RIP Cst. Wynn. God speed.

Thank you so much Jennifer! That truly means so much!
Hi Shona! Beautiful captures! Wish I could have been in St. Albert for this! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Nick!
I can’t get enough of looking at the Regimental Mark. It blows my mind at just how beautiful and amazing it was too see so many servicemen at one place at the same time.

Amazing indeed…and never want to see it again…
Shona, your photos are moving and your words beautiful. May we never forget and may we always remain “united in light” as a loving, caring and wonderful community. Rest in peace Const. Wynn.

Beautiful. It’s been a rough week.
I was truly amazed and felt safe among the officers, it was heart wrenching service but well worth being there and to feel the love ,to know of the love that he gave to the community, people in general he will truly be missed but will be always remembered, may he rest in peace, guide his family into the future, watch over everyone, truly another Angel that is blessed
